By opting in to receive SMS or email communications from Ham Produce and Seafood (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

These messages may be sent via SMS, email, or other electronic means, depending on your opt-in preferences. SMS messages may be sent from various phone numbers used by our sales and customer service team. All messages are sent on behalf of Ham Produce and Seafood.

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Most customers can expect 1 to 4 messages per week during active ordering periods, with frequency reflecting the cadence of your orders. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages at this time.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Please consult with your carrier for details.

  1. Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt out of receiving messages at any time:

  • SMS: Reply STOP to any text message
  • Email: Click the Unsubscribe link in the footer of our emails

For help or assistance with SMS, reply HELP to any text message. Opting out via STOP applies across all phone numbers associated with our team.

We use Close.com and Twilio as our SMS service providers. Your phone number will be processed by these providers solely to deliver messages you have requested. We do not share or sell your mobile number for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website.

  1. SMS Communications

Ham Produce and Seafood Inc. offers an SMS messaging program through our customer relationship platform, Close.

Eligibility. This program is available only to existing wholesale customers of Ham Produce and Seafood, and to prospective customers who opt in as part of their Wholesale Account Signup. SMS messages begin once a customer relationship is established and continue only while that relationship is active. The program is not open to the general public.

Program description. SMS messages may include order confirmations, delivery updates, fresh fish and produce availability notices, and time-sensitive market updates such as limited-supply items and auction-priced fish. Local auction pricing is dynamic and changes throughout the day; current pricing is shared only when a customer reaches out and asks.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on order activity, market conditions, and customer requests. There is no fixed message cadence.

Costs. Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates from your wireless provider will apply to all messages sent and received. Ham Produce does not charge for SMS messages.

Opt-in. By checking the SMS opt-in box on our Wholesale Account Signup form or by providing verbal or written consent to a member of our customer team, you agree to receive SMS messages as described above. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt back in.

Help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us using the information below.

Supported carriers. Our SMS program is compatible with major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy. Phone numbers and message content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
